1. We went on a picture scavenger hunt, and it may have been one of the most awkward and funny things I have ever done in my life. Approaching locals and trying to persuade them into taking pictures with you, when neither of you can understand the other is just plain awkward.
2. My group on the scavenger hunt, Stephanie and Abby, and I coincidentally walked right to the pizzaria where the Jersey Shore cast was filming/working. I think security thought we were paparazzi and started yellign at us to leave with our cameras. As we were leaving though, Pauly D came out and talked to us.
Conversation:
Pauly D: "Hey! What are those cameras for?"
Us: "National Geographic trip."
Him: "Do you want pizza?"
Us: "No thanks." (The secruity guard was escorting us away so we didn't say yes...)
Him: "I can out your cameras on a pizza!" (He is super intelligent if you couldn't tell.)

3. Lunch was around 1, and I had Tortellini Rose (cream adn tomato sauce) and it was yummy. Then we got a waffle dessert thing with NUTELLA heated on top of it. It was alright...I devored the Nutella though.

4. After lunch, we went to the Galleria dell'Accademia becuase this is where the Statue of David resides among other things. I could have looked at the statues for ages. It was amazing to see the HUGE statue that looked so real and was made completely by hand.
5.We then walked around Florence and went to different Piazzas to take pictures and work on our photography skills.
6. At around 5:30 we started to head to our cooking class! I was so excited to go, but that excitement started to dwindle as we had to walk a thousand miles (not really, it took about 30 minutes to get there, but it felt that far) to get there. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the 2 cooks who run the class, Isabella and Marcella. They were both super sweet, and cooking was a blast. Holly and I mastered the art of Tiramisu, and may I add that it was delicious. As a group though, we accomplished to make dinner from scratch for all 18 of us. the full menu consisted of spinch and ricotta ravioli, chicken cacciatore, roasted potatoes, and for dessert tiramisu.
7. We departed the cooking class around 10pm and started out long walk home. We took some night shots along the way, and then returned to the hotel. Now I am super tired and need to shower, so Ciao!
